Her puppet production of Macbeth was performed over 200 times in Victorian and SA secondary schools and she has recorded several vocal and musical soundtracks. Julia taught puppetry for 5 years within the Theatre Arts course at Swinburne, Prahran, and has achieved some recognition for her ‘celebrity’ puppets, especially her political figures and caricatures.

When Julia began studying singing with Graham Clarke in the early 2000’s she discovered her ‘inner mezzo’ and embraced the coloratura mezzo-soprano repertoire with enthusiasm. Julia also loves to sing German Lieder and art songs. Julia performed some of this repertoire in Acoustic Voice’s Recital program in Mexico in 2014 and sang in Buenos Aires in 2015.
